הערת עורך: על פי רוב אתה מוצא "בעיה" עם התרגום של השל מאנגלית לעברית. כאן ההפך, המשפט הזה בעברית, שהוא כאמור תרגום, עולה על המקור שבאנגלית. "גלוי ונסתר" הוא ביטוי שירי בעברית העולה על ה"מקור" שבאנגלית להלן "open and concealed" ראיתי לאחרונה שהשל אמר שלכל אדם יש שפה אחת ושפתו היא שפת היידיש. האם שפת האם של הקב"ה היא אכן העברית ?

Editor's note: I commented in the Hebrew version of this post that, usually there is diffculty with the Hebrew translation of God in Search of Man vis a vis the original which was written in English, Here the opposite is true and the Hebrew version "sounds  better" than the original  due - mostly but not only -  to the Hebrew phrase "galui ve nistar"  which resonates much more than  "open and concealed". I read recently that H said that every person  has one language and  his was Yiddish. I am wondering whether God's "mama loshen" is Hebrew ? -Ed:-)
