During periods of comparitive calm, of settled convictions and traditions, the normal order of living is easily accepted. In an age when man has been disenfranchised of faith and disabused of the optimism inherent in technological advances, he is avid above all for some intimation of meaning. The Kotzker could be a companion as we search in the labyrinth of belief.
